Vector Aerospace Engine Services – Atlantic (Vector Atlantic) is a fully authorized Pratt & Whitney Canada Distributor and Designated Overhaul Facility. The company is a division of Vector Aerospace and provides worldwide engine support to JT15D, PT6A, PW100 and PW307/308 engines.

Vector Atlantic is located in Hangar 8 at Slemon Park, Prince Edward Island. The custom-built 140,000 square foot facility is ISO 9002 Certified. Vector Atlantic also holds regulatory approvals from Transport Canada, U.S Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), through the US/Canadian Bilateral Agreement, European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), and multiple other international Civil Aviation Authorities in South America, Africa and the Far East. In addition to our facility in Canada, Vector Atlantic has service centers in the United States, South Africa, Kenya and the UK.

Islanders first came to know the company as Atlantic Turbines; the company’s name since it opened in 1991. Atlantic Turbines recently went through a re-branding process that resulted in a new name to reflect its owners, Vector Aerospace. Through constant improvement and dedication to quality service, Vector Atlantic has grown from a startup in 1992, to sales of $140 million per annum.

Vector Atlantic has earned its industry leader status by providing high quality engine repairs, excellent customer service, and superior warranty coverage. Above all of that, Vector Atlantic boasts the fastest turn-around times in the industry, and excellent service at a competitive price.

 Keeping our customers happy is our top priority. One way we accomplish this is ensuring that even if a customer’s engine is being repaired in our facility, our customer is not grounded; we provide rental engines to allow our customers to keep operating as usual. 

Our strongest competency is in the area of customer service, and we always strive to nurture long-term relationships with our customers. We invite our customers to the facility to look around and watch as their engine is disassembled. We want them to stand shoulder to shoulder with our technicians as we work together to draw a conclusion as to what kind of workscope is actually required on their engine. We demonstrate. We won’t just tell them what the problem is.

Our work methods permit the technicians to devote their personal attention to the engine they are assigned. This facilitates responsibility and accountability and results in a product with exceptional quality and reliability.

In operation for over fifteen years, Vector Atlantic has grown significantly since opening in 1992 with only 4 employees. Today, the Summerside facility employs 400 staff and is Prince Edward Island’s largest aerospace company.

Vector Atlantic recently received a Business Excellence Award from the Greater Summerside Chamber of Commerce. The award was “presented to a company that best demonstrates overall business excellence within the Greater Summerside Area, and substantially contributes to the community’s economic development”. Vector Atlantic recognizes the valuable support of the Island community and regularly contributes back to the community of Prince Edward Island. Contributions made by Vector Atlantic are extremely varied; providing financial support to local youth sports teams, sponsorship in the Health Care sector and funding to support Education, Sports, Arts & Culture, and Community Health Care. .
